The app

Tax work, without the hunt.

One workspace for intake, review, notices, exports, and the record behind every decision.

  • See what needs attention first
  • Keep evidence tied to each field
  • Ask the assistant when you get stuck

Watch the demo

Documents in. Defensible packet out — in 26 seconds.

A short walkthrough of the four steps: ingest, engine, CPA review, signed output.

The problem

Tax-prep tooling stops at the return.

  • Source documents sit in email and Dropbox until you re-keystroke them — every January.
  • When the IRS pushes back six months later, the audit trail is buried in a thread of replies.
  • Every basis-mismatch CP2000 starts with a manual reconciliation against a return you barely remember.

What's inside

One vault, three modes — all with one audit log.

TaxFlow is a single document vault that handles the work before, during, and after a return. The same encrypted store powers all three.

Encrypted vault

AES-256-GCM at rest, per-client isolation, PII redacted before any LLM call. Documents never leave the vault unencrypted.

Mismatch engine

Regex-first extraction across 12 IRS form types. AI is the second opinion, not the first — every value is auditable to its source line.

CP2000 response

Notice in. IRS-ready response packet out — letter, evidence index, audit log, line-by-line decision. Minutes, not hours.

How it works

Documents in. Defensible packet out.

Same flow before, during, and after a filing. The CPA — you — signs every conclusion.

Why CPAs sign with confidence

Every conclusion is signed.

No "AI says." Every reported value links back to the source line in the source document, with a timestamp, confidence score, and the CPA's decision attached.

Built by Nurbek Matai, CPA.

Fifteen years at PwC, KPMG, and EY. TaxFlow exists because the manual reconciliation work I was doing on every basis-mismatch notice was the same work, every time. So I automated it — without removing the part where a CPA signs every conclusion.

Questions

What CPAs ask first.

How is client data secured?
Documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest in a per-client file vault. PII (SSNs, EINs, account numbers) is redacted via regex before any LLM call, and image-bound PII is black-boxed before vision OCR. The vault keys never leave the server.
Do you replace my professional judgment?
No. The CPA signs every conclusion. TaxFlow finds matches and surfaces evidence — agree, disagree, partial-agree, or override is your call, and your name goes on the response. The audit log records who decided what, when, and against which source line.
Why "regex first, LLM second"?
IRS forms have stable layouts. Regex hits the predictable parts deterministically — lower cost, lower hallucination risk, fully auditable. AI is the second pass for layout variants and ambiguous lines, not the first pass for everything.
What about state notices and forms?
The MVP focuses on federal individual tax — 12 IRS form types and CP2000 brokerage-basis notices. State notice flows are on the roadmap; tell us what your top three states are and we'll prioritize.
How do I cancel?
One click in account settings. Your encrypted vault and audit logs export to ZIP on the way out — you keep them, we keep nothing.
